GIVING BACK

United Iowa is more than just a name. It’s what we strive to do by giving back to local organizations throughout eastern Iowa. A lot of Iowans, including children, aren’t having their basic needs met, like food, housing, education, healthcare needs, etc. Organizations like the ones we work closely with below are working to change that. They all share in the idea that a united Iowa is a better Iowa for all members of our communities.

UIF HELPING OUR COMMUNITY

UIF gives each employee $500 to donate to a local charity each year for Giving Tuesday

UIF volunteers at the Ronald McDonald House, serving dinner for those who could use a good, hot meal.

Everyone deserves a warm pair of socks! We hosted a sock drive and together with our clients, were able to donate hundreds of socks to the Shelter House - Iowa City.

PS... Our clients are THE BEST!

UIF supports Houses into Homes Golf Fore Good Fundraiser, 2025

We are thrilled to share the incredible success of our recent Cleaning Supply Drive, all in support of the Transitional Living Program at United Action for Youth.

A huge THANK YOU goes out to our wonderful and generous clients who donated an amazing array of cleaning supplies. Your contributions will make a significant difference, helping these deserving teens maintain clean, sanitary, and comfortable homes.

Understanding and supporting our community is our top priority and we are committed to providing compassionate and respectful service to everyone.

A big thank you to Dementia Friendly Iowa for providing a special training session which shared valuable skills and knowledge to our staff to enhance our interactions with people living with dementia.
